After five weeks of designer doghouses being enjoyed by the public, BowWow Haus London is now officially over.

The exhibition had a tremendous response from those who were able to see more than 60 customised creations first-hand at St Pancras International and Stratford International stations.

BowWow Haus London culminated in an auction to raise money for Blue Cross and the Outdoor Arts Foundation through the sale of the one-off kennels designed by celebrities, artists and architects.

The event at London’s St Pancras Renaissance Hotel on Thursday April 26 saw thousands of pounds raised through the generosity of supporters at the auction and those who bid online.

Final details of the fundraising total are still being confirmed with a few kennels still up for sale

‘It was so exciting to see all the incredible designs together in one venue,’ says Matt Cull, Deputy Director of Fundraising at Blue Cross. ‘At times surprising, eye-opening, amusing and stylish, the work and thought that went into each kennel embody just what a special relationship we have with our pets.’

‘BowWow Haus London was a great awareness piece for Blue Cross; the event was a fantastic showcase of everything we do and of all of the hard work and creativity of the participants. It has taken us to new audiences and helped raise our profile in a completely different way.

‘The money we raised will make a real difference to the sick, injured and homeless pets in Blue Cross’s care, contributing towards our goal of £2 million needed to rebuild our Hertfordshire Rehoming Centre.

‘I would like to say a very heartfelt thank you for the passion, vision and creativity shown by everyone involved with this project.’
